Departure Date May 13  2004 - Destination HOME!

London - Turkey - Syria - Lebanon - Jordan - Egypt - Mexico - Guatemala - Belize - Peru - Chile - Argentina - Brazil - Bolivia - USA - Fiji - Sydney !!!! ( if we make it back alive that is!! )

(Bex) The time has come for us to pack our bags and hit the road again.  No more sunny Willesden Green, no more London buses, no more cosmopolitan grub...just months and months of burritos ahead of us.

That's right soon we will be swinging on hammocks along the Caribbean coast of Mexico and BelizeYAWN, is that ANOTHER Mayan ruin shrouded in lush tropical jungle?  Look out, mind the Toucan's beak, they're quite sharp.  What's that?  Yes OK just a tad more guacamole please.

Yes yes yes, once more we have loads of amazing places to show you in pictures.  We won't of course show you the 42 hour long bus rides, the lost cameras, the sweaty thighs, the dirt under our nails and the lack of sleep.  But we may show you the odd holiday pooh - don't get too excited, they usually are solid!

Anyway sit back and relax and enjoy the inflight meal.

We're spending a month in Guanajuato ( North of Mexico City ) doing an intensive Spanish course so that hopefully at the end we can ask "where are the toilets?" and"excuse me sir that's my foot you're spitting on"

(Brendon) So it´s now a month since Bex composed that little ditty and we have survived the Middle-east ... well, except for my Cairo Belly.  We are now in Guanajuato, an UNESCO listed colonial town north of Mexico City, and I no longer have Cairo Belly - I have Burrito Belly! ( or Montezumas Revenge)

We start our Espanol lessons mañana.  Being here for a month solid (unlike my bowels)  means we will spend some time and have some pics and stories for the Middle-East page... that´s right folks, we made it outa´ there without creating an international incident... although we did try.

(Brendon - 2 days later) Belly is fine now - BRING ON THE BURRITOS!!! The Spanish lessons are good... my head is spinning with overload... i´ve had to forget my parents birthdates so as to fit in more Espanol - i think they´ll understand!
p.s. just kiddin Mum - 18 / 9 / 1963 !!!   ;)
